Abstract

This Small Business Innovation Research Phase I Project will develop an innovative intelligent multi-agent architecture that provides a basic toolset for modeling dynamic, distributed, and adaptive resource allocation across information systems. In our approach intelligent agents are assigned to model representative resources within a system. For a given failure mode, these interconnected agents collaborate and negotiate among their peer agents and higher level agents to reach an agreement on the state of an environment and propose resource allocation changes given the anticipated effects on the environment. This is the basic definition of the concept of Multi-Agent Systems.
