Abstract

The US Navy seeks innovative capabilities for the accurate and efficient volumetric display of geospatial data in real-time on a small form factor to support feature extraction for targeting in forward deployed environments. To meet this requirement, IAVO Research and Scientific proposes the development of the GeoMRSV (Geospatial MultiResolution Scene Visualization) suite. GeoMSRV will provide a highly innovative, fundamentally sound, low risk solution for rapidly ingesting, displaying volumetrically and extracting features from multiresolution, multisensor geospatial data that may be manifested in a small form factor hardware solution such as a ruggedized laptop. The underlying photogrammetric capabilities of GeoMRSV set it apart from traditional existing and emerging solutions supporting the rapid integration of new sensors and real-time update of newly acquired sensor data. GeoMRSV will leverage existing state of the art GPU protocols to enhance plug-and-play technologies to support holographic, pseudo-holographic, and other emerging display capabilities.
