Abstract

Phase II of N07-064 will pursue a multi- technology approach to optimize the use of resources to address likely fault scenarios in the most cost effective manner. By developing a fault taxonomy, fault resolution strategies will be developed for each fault addressed. Intelligent Agents offer a sophisticated approach suitable to the difficult problem of maintaining the continuous operation of an Enclave Network. For those faults requiring such sophistication to properly address, Intelligent Agents will be developed and tested. At the end of Phase II, N07-064 will have produced a comprehensive plan to make NTDPS/SNADIS more reliable and resilient by implementing a blend of technologies and a fault taxonomy to direct their application. Also produced during Phase II will be an Intelligent Agent development and deployment toolset to be used in addressing the faults, and a Pilot Plan for how to deploy the solution to the fleet for evaluation.
