Abstract

This project will develop a secure cross-domain collaboration capability, based on the NSA-certified Collaboration Gateway (CG) product, designed specifically to support the unique features & capabilities of the Radiant Mercury guard. SPAWAR Joint CG (SPAWAR JCG) will provide a secure, cross-domain means of allowing coalition and US forces to quickly share information without the need for time-consuming manual release. Building on two previously-certified products - CG 1.1 and Radiant Mercury - the SPAWAR JCG program will take an aggressive, results-oriented research strategy aimed at providing high value features (e.g., person-to-person chat, three-or-more levels of secure collaboration) to current RM users. The goal of this research is to dramatically increase the information assurance AND timeliness of cross-domain collaboration in the coalition context.
