Abstract

This SBIR will be a multi-part effort extending the main goal of the Phase I SBIR collaboration between Progeny Systems and 3eTI in furthering the desire of the DDG 1000 Program Office to establish a software application and platform integrator that will work with the various companies involved in Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) efforts N05-051, 150, 156, and 160. Progeny acting as the prime software integrator will interact with Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Philadelphia Detachment for Functional Requirements; Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane IN for Distance Support and the Navy Information/Application Product Suite (NIAPS); and Raytheon Corporation as the DDG 1000 Ship Designer. The effort will involve coordination of the associated efforts and the development of the technical computing architecture to support the DDG 1000 non-tactical systems functionality, specifically centered on the ship maintenance applications rising from the named SBIR efforts. The computing environments to be examined will be the Distance Support and NIAPS architecture, and the Total Ship Computing Environment Infrastructure delivered by Raytheon to Program Executive Officer Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS).
