The objective of the proposed project will be to develop the specifications for a high reliability remotely-operated in-line boost pump for transferring fuel from an offshore tanker during amphibious operations. The project will select the optimum pump and drive to be used. Specifications will then be developed to define the control and operation of the pumping station. This work will form the basis for further design and test prototype fabrica- tion in subsequent phases of the project.
