Abstract

Luna Innovations and RTI International propose to merge SITAR with the Communications-Electronics Research, Development and Engineering Center (CERDEC) Tactical Wireless Network Assurance (TWNA) program. Specific areas of focus will be the Policy Management Server and the Bandwidth Broker functions. The research team has determined that the previously prototyped SITAR system can unobtrusively be incorporated into TWNA which shall protect the distributed communication paths TWNA requires against known and unknown attacks. It is important to note that SITAR is already between TRL 5 and TRL 6. By leveraging an architecture which has been previously developed for over two years, Luna and RTI have reduced the technical risk of this SBIR development.
