Abstract

The primary objectives of this SBIR effort will be to increase the bandwidth capabilities of the Arbitrary Waveform Generator (AWG) designed during the Phase I effort from 500 MHz to 1 GHz and to develop a high speed memory interface to allow the waveforms to be loaded real-time. The bandwidth of the Phase I AWG will be doubled by developing a vector modulator and driving the in-phase and quadrature ports of the vector modulator with two of the AWGs.
