Abstract

Areté Associates proposes to demonstrate a low-cost, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) electro-optical (EO) navigation sensor as a Target Detection Device (TDD) solution which offers several advantages over the RF sensors used in air-delivered munitions fuzes. Prototype sensor development and demonstration coupled with optical flow and munition simulations form the core of our technological approach.
