Abstract

The main objective will be to optimize the coating formulations that were developed and tested during the Phase I program. Formulations, ingredient concentrations, application and curing methods will be fine tuned in the Phase II program. Among tests to be conducted will be moisture barrier, adhesion, abrasion, chemical resistance, thermal stability, thermal coefficient of expansion, thermal conductivity, dielectric strength and physical properties. A large number of electronic parts will be coated and the screening test results will be verified by an independent facility. We will provide materials and process specifications for the innovative materials and process that will be developed during the proposed program. We will provide materials and process specifications for the innovative materials and process that will be developed during the proposed program. At the end of Phase II, UDC will provide a detailed report that will include all work performed, resultant data, specifications and a Phase III production plan.
