Abstract

Our goal is to create a cross-domain geospatial database system that can fully retain and rapidly access the data required for a wide range of applications, from multi-band visualization to constructive simulation. It will preserve the highest fidelity of the source data in the most versatile, application-neutral format. There will be an expandable definition for each data element, where the object can be attributed with information from other domains on import or over time. The system will provide export utilities capable of scaling the requested gaming area within the constraints of the target system, whether main-frame or man-wearable. It will support rapid delivery of data through compressed data streaming, as required. Data evolution through registra-tion, change detection, merging, versioning, and archival, will be automated.
