Abstract

THE OBJECTIVE IS TO DEVELOP A PSYCHOPHYSIOLOGICALLY BASED INDEX OF HUMAN WORKLOAD. IN PHASE I THE SPATIAL EXTENT OF SPONTANEOUS EYE MOVEMENTS (SACCADES) WAS MEASURED OVER THREE LEVELS OF TASK LOADING (TONE COUNTING COMPLEXITY).
