Abstract

The Principal Investigator for Ryzing Technologies has been designing, fabricating, deploying, and training soldiers on expeditionary shelters and accessories for more than a decade. He was a key part of transitioning the AirBeam Shelter from an SBIR with NSRDEC to commercialization with Force Provider. This experience of designing and producing products that improve the environment of warfighters gives Ryzing Technologies the confidence that they can deliver the best Adjustable Reusable Platform for Expeditionary Shelters. The proposed system will use a frame system that is deployed and leveled, without any tools, prior to installation of the flooring panels. The flooring panels are Collapsible Extruded Plastic Panel (CEPP) that have a low cost, good insulation value, and pack size of a third the deployed size. The CEPP enables over four thousand square feet of platform to be packaged into one TRICON container, which is at least twice the area of a non-collapsible insulated panel system. This system will not only meet the price point of $7.50 per square foot but will also provide a significant reduction in transportation cost. With the experience, system design, and military and commercial connections, Ryzing Technologies is a company that will successfully commercialize this system.
