The meteoric rise of personally identifying information (PII) created and shared online is unprecedented. The sheer volume of open source intelligence available on sites such Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, message forums, Instagram, etc. makes the task of collecting and organizing OSINT increasingly laborious for analysts. Zeuss has already built and tested an operational product that addresses this problem space in significant ways. Current versions of the product enable non-technical end users to concurrently conduct meta-searches across a multitude of online sources with a single, intuitive GUI. Results are then automatically organized and visualized. However, this software capability is currently built upon cloud-based architecture and does not provide the ability for persistent long term storage of collected open source results. For Phase 1, we propose to research and develop a functional prototype that leverages our existing core functionality and demonstrates the following: 1) Runs locally via an external USB drive and performs all data processing without connecting to a central server. 2) Stores collected OSINT data locally without the need to install files on the host machine. 3) Develop additional capability allows end users to easily point the system to new open source data without any advanced technical know-how.
