Abstract

Technology Service Corporation (TSC) proposes to develop an innovative capability for inline generation of trajectory kinematics and infrared (IR) signature data of threat missile systems for modeling and simulation (M&S) applications. In Phases I and II, TSC will develop software to model the kinematics and simulate IR signatures for all phases of flight inline at speeds faster than real time. In Phase I, TSC will develop requirements for the new inline threat generation (ITG) technology, demonstrate its technical merit and feasibility, and provide an initial concept for verification and validation (V&V). For the Phase I Option, TSC will identify interfaces and begin the process of integrating the new ITG capability with the Objective Simulation Framework (OSF), or another framework as directed, to provide a complete M&S system. In Phase II, TSC will develop high quality computer code for the new ITG capability, fully integrate it with the directed M&S system, and perform V&V testing of the new capability by comparing results with those of the current system.
