Abstract

The deep jungle canopy forms a natural radio frequency barrier blocking transmissions both into and out of the jungle canopy. In this work GIRD Systems proposes to develop a system capable of maintaining both digital and voice communications connectivity through jungle canopy. Future system demo is aimed at a man-portable, multimission, multiband radio such as the AN/PRC-150.
